There was something similar in the way she moved to the way Peter did, an easy sort of nimble grace. There was a quiet awe and care in the way she touched his work. Not for the first time, Regulus found himself questioning why muggle and wizard had to live in such separate worlds.
"Herbology is the study and care of magical plants and often magical creatures as well," he explained, seeming to relax some the more it became obvious that she could be respectful too.
"Knowing how plants and root systems work from those studies makes it easier to know how to properly anchor and guide things when encouraging them to be larger and grow in a certain way," he said, touching some of the work he'd done. "If you don't know that stuff, it'll end up being structurally unsound and probably collapse pretty quickly whenever someone uses it or at a large gust of wind."
Regulus looked up at her. It was important to do things slowly, to take care and do it right rather than quickly. The difference, he supposed, between himself and his brother.
