Funny enough, Tony hadn't really thought about it. It'd sort of just slipped off of his tongue like something he didn't even have to think about. Which, he supposed, he didn't. Not really. They were a couple. Even if he wasn't sure about singular titles (boyfriend? partner? Steve? Whatever.) he knew what this was. "Yeah," he agreed a little wistfully. "Let's try to keep doing that. It seems to work out better." He wasn't trying to taint the moment, but they were both pretty well known for not agreeing with each other.
Tony kept mostly to his coffee, although he did pull a muffin a little closer to himself and picked the top part off in little bits to nibble on as he stared out onto the street, watching the people and pokemon wander by. "I think they're amazing," he said after a beat. "Like, genuinely. The Doctor and I theorize that they're less pets and more -- practically equals? The people and the animals have achieved a sort of symbiosis that benefits both of them on a world wide scale. The planet is in better repair than our own is in every single was, so far as I can research."
Probably, it was a little too much of an answer, but Tony couldn't say he wasn't excited.
