Aw, man. Peter twisted his lips into something of a grimace but reigned himself back, just a little. Because Gamora was apparently the voice of reason -- well. She always kind of had been. "Yeah," he said. "We sure were." But he hadn't been. And maybe if they'd all gone to Nivadwhatever their chances against Thanos later would have been better. And Gamora -- his Gamora -- would still be alive.
Not that he could blame all that on Thor, even though it might have been nice to have someone to pint a finger at.
"Speaking of sizable," he said, even as he put more sugar than was probably strictly necessary into his coffee. "You're looking quite a bit more fit. Did you have a training montage?"
He was pretty sure Terrans had more to offer than coffee, but at least Gamora was finding stuff she liked, even without his help. He had to admit, she looked god behind the counter. Cute.
