There was always something that needed getting, not that Klaus minded of course, the routine of it was comforting in its own way, it kept him busy - distracted. Between Ben and Bill and trips through the door and the deliveries, well there were hardly enough hours in the day to worry about the part of him that would have loved to get high - even now this many months after being here.

But there he was, with his special bag from Bill slung over his shoulder and making his way toward the house once more - to see what he could find and bring back.

Along the way he found one of their newer residents, "You planning on making a trip through?" He asked, he could be friendly, he did it plenty. Even when he didn't need anything from the person he was giving a little bit of kindness to. "Have you tried before?"

Klaus nodded when asked about whether or not the doors changed. "I don't think I've been to the same place twice," He admitted sure he went to places that felt vaguely similar to one another, cities with stores to rob, but beyond that well - Klaus wasn't really what one would call an explorer. He was much more a man on a mission. But he could make an exception every now and then - like he had with Ben.

"I've heard about some pretty crazy things people have seen in there, dinosaurs, worlds on fire, tornadoes." He listed off a few of the more colorful options that he'd heard reported and shrugged a bit. "If a world looks dodgy I tend to not go through at all, I'm out here to pick stuff up not get killed, you know?" He held up his hands and shrugged.

"But come on, we can see what the doors are feeling like giving us today." He waved a hand as he and Luke approached the house together. "Care to do the honors?" He asked "You just pick a door and open it. And we see how Lady Luck feels about you today."

He wasn't particularly crazy about the idea that his companion's first statement was that he should go first but what the kriff? How bad could it be? A cage with an angry rancor? He hoped not but he didn't feel anything strange in the Force when he turned the door handle and once he stepped through, he found himself in a bustling city.

"Well okay so this isn't too bad but it's not anywhere that I recognize but that doesn't surprise me." He hadn't expected to find Coruscant or any other city from his world but this one seemed just as crowded. "Does this look like any place you've been before?"

Klaus thought everyone ought to have a chance to go through the doors first, he wasn't sure whether or not it had any sort of bearing on where the doors went exactly, but it was worth a shot just to see how it worked out. And you know he'd had fairly good luck finding normal places so maybe there was something to that thinking.

His companion found them a world with a busy city so already things were looking promising for Klaus and his plans for the day but still as he stepped through and looked around he found that it wasn't a city he could say he knew. "Well only in that it looks like a city, beyond that it doesn't seem like any one I know in particular." He admitted lifting his shoulders. "But that's kind of how it has gone for me so far, vaguely familiar but not obviously so."

"So what do you think?" He asked, "Should we look around a bit first or do you want to help me knock over the first convenience store we can find?"

Luke wasn't entirely sure what Klaus meant by knocking over a convenience store or for that matter, what a convenience store was, but he wasn't sure he wanted to start with that. "Let's look around a bit, see what's here." It seemed that you could just take what you wanted which was both good and bad, he supposed.

"So which way should we got? Looks like no matter where we go, there's plenty to do." He hadn't the slightest idea what anything he was seeing was but that didn't matter. Luke had always wanted to explore and he was certainly getting his chance.

"Sure," Klaus was pretty easy about most things in life, whether it was his choice in partners, or what he did when he went through the doors, as long as he wasn't being attacked he was pretty happy to just kind of go with the flow. So if Luke wanted to look around then Klaus was happy to do that.

"Let's head this way," He said nodding picking a direction at random, and started walking, this place was bright and colorful in a way that where he was from definitely wasn't, even though it looked like a fairly normal city. But the more they walked the more he saw that it was something a little bit different and not just because it was more colorful.

"Well that's something," He said pausing when they made their way on to a busy street and saw people walking around with what he could only assume were pets but didn't look like any cat or dogs he'd ever seen before. "Pika, pika," Came a voice from down near his feet and he stepped back seeing a little yellow.. cat mouse thing walking in front of him, like it was warning him it was there. "Yeah, definitely a bit weird."

"I've never seen anything like that before," Luke said. He had already learned that the animals here weren't like the ones in his world but this one was even stranger looking. "Hopefully it's friendly." The little creature seemed to be, he was just wandering around saying 'pika pika" and not much else.

"Look there's another one, it looks kind of like the thing that people call a goat?" It had horns anyway and it too was just walking around, people would stop from time to time and say something to it and then keep going. "This is really strange." That was an understatement.

"You and me both, my friend." Klaus said with a low huff watching the little guy pass by them like he was on some sort of mission, or maybe he was following someone? He wasn't really sure, either way it was kind of precious, you know if Klaus went in for things like that. Ben was about all the adorable he allowed in his life.

He looked up and saw the goat sort of creature that Luke pointed out watching people interact with it and then move on. "Huh, that's weird. You'd think maybe someone would be trying to get it out of town or something." He said frowning, that was the way people generally reacted to livestock in places other than big fields. But no one seemed bothered by him or even any of the other animals that were wandering around. "Yeah, definitely new for me."

"Guess we should check it out a bit more." He said with a shrug, and then holding out a hand to let Luke lead the way.
