"That's so charming. James Barnes, my delicate blushing flower," she said, and leaned up to kiss his mouth, lightly, before resting her head back in the very comfortable spot it had found with his arm thrown across her. "I'll never use this power for good, not even once." Basking in afterglow, that was another relatively new thing - both for the pair of them and in general, opportunities for cuddling and affection had been a little thin on the ground in Natasha's life for what felt like an eternity now. Having such easy access to it, such willing participants for it... well, she was overusing the word overwhelming tonight, and so she kissed the side of his neck, this time.
It had cost them each something even now, to come together here and like this, but it was a price she knew they had both decided they were all right with paying.
Natasha reached for the edge of the blanket, drawing it up over the pair of them; might have had an adverse effect on the view. She had felt - lost, lately. A little more lost than usual, and it was nothing she'd figured out how to be able to talk about, not to Clint, not to James. Tony had his own problems, and Carol, she knew, would be staunchly Team Nat the way she always was when she was trying to put herself between a friend and something that was hurting them, even when it wasn't a situation that was about teams.
So this was...a break. A respite, an interlude, and she let her feet tangle with his beneath the blanket. Sex was good, when it was done right, it made her brain turn itself off for awhile, and she didn't especially want it to power back on. "This is nice," she said, quietly.
