Truthfully, Barbara probably should have run the other way before she'd ever ended up through the doors with this guy, but she hadn't. It was a little like her trip with Harley, a little less killing maybe - but she hadn't been able to just turn around and leave Harley on her own anymore than she could leave this guy.
He might be a bit of a dick, but he was just a kid. And one that seemed to be only too able to get himself into trouble. It was for the good of everyone that she stuck around - just to make sure he wasn't getting into too much trouble.
The pokemon though, it was definitely weird no matter what he said about it. "I don't know," She said shaking her head and watching it as it moved, and as he decided he wanted to move toward it. "Be careful." She warned when he tossed her the lightsaber and made his way closer, like an idiot. And then he spoke to it, like he was talking to well some guy he'd met on the street, but this was not just some random stranger it was one of these pokemon, that Barbara still didn't really understand.
