Maybe it was a pipe dream, seeing the world as the best possible scenario. Maybe it wasn't - either way though it was Barbara's hope for her home. She really did want a time to come when they could all hang up their capes and just live in the world they'd helped to create.
She gave him an extremely dubious look when he said everything and everyone was replaceable. Now that was something she couldn't even begin to agree with and she shook her head. "I can't believe that." She said simply, because it was as simple as that. It was not something she could ever get her mind around.
But they were here now, on this island, there were things to see and animals to check out - and he looked pretty eager if the way he ran off to start exploring was anything to go by. So stubborn in some ways and yet very clearly still a young man in others. Yeah she definitely was having flashes of the Robins when she looked at him.
She caught up soon enough though, after moving at a more sedate and human pace, seeing that he'd found some kind interesting pokemon. "Weird." Was really all she could say about it, because that's kind of what it was, not in a bad way, just in a she'd never seen anything quite like it sort of way.
