Barbara could tell her answer wasn't exactly he wanted to hear, but she knew all about spoiled boys who were too used to getting their own way. She wasn't really worried about him. And just watched as he declared his intentions and then pulled the door open.
Over his shoulder she saw a bright sunny day on the other side and grinned. It wasn't what she had expected it to be, but it would work out just fine. He didn't seem to be quite as pleased with the world on the other side but he still walked through.
Laughing when he seemed almost put out that she hadn't immediately followed him, Barbara jogged the short distance between herself and the door and followed him through. "Well you know, some people might want to go on their own - I didn't want to cramp your style." She told him.
"This place looks pretty amazing, don't you think?" She hadn't ever heard of Hau'oli City, but it looked like a pretty nice place. "So what do you think? Wanna look around a bit? See what we can find?"
