Sirius, on the other hand, had no much considered the problems of washing and drying because -- well. He was a wizard. There was a spell for that. Probably he should have offered to help the muggles out with things like that but he really just hadn't considered it or realized it might be an issue for them.
Well. Hindsight.
Still, he was keen on the idea of new clothing, because wearing the same thing with his leather jacket every day was getting a bit on the boring side. "That's not a cheese fridge," he said, but wasn't disagreeing. He had pockets aplenty to shrink things down for and carry.
"Do you think they'll take wizarding money? I can transfigure something else to the muggle sort...." It was sort of like cheating and stealing but -- well. They did need stuff. He wasn't going to feel too badly about that. "Let's check this place out," he decided, because he had no idea what name brands did or didn't do to muggle clothing anyway, so the first place he saw that offered trousers was the first place he was going to look.
