Sirius had to rack his brain a bit to figure out the fridge bit. Muggle things, he decided and then narrowed it down from there. Oh, right. The ice box that kept things cold without magic.
Apparently this one was filled with just cheese. Sirius had to admire a man like that. Just having what he wanted. Clearly at some point he'd have to make friends with him too. Jan seemed -- well. She was a right distraction, and she was very friendly. She seemed like she'd make a good romping mate. Even if he didn't really feel like it. Maybe especially because he didn't feel like it.
But he found himself smiling anyway, because -- "Seriously Sirius," he agreed, forever loving a pun from his own name. "I don't hear it enough, I reckon."
The door she pulled open didn't look much like there would be a school behind it, but Sirius stepped through before they could find a new one, anyway. Sometimes you just had to go with the random shit life handed to you, he figured.
