Ben listened to Luke's story quietly, without interruption save for a few nods or for times when his eyes would stare at the floor as if lost in thought. He was processing it all, asking himself questions as Luke explained what he knew about his father and his sister and his heritage. It was a lot for a young man like Luke to take on. Quite the burden. It was no wonder he hadn't wanted to lay it on him at once.
Though he did chuckle when he heard he'd been described as a "crazy old wizard". "He wasn't far off..." Ben commented with that mischevious grin.
When Luke had finished, Ben sat in silence for a moment, considering what to say and what this could mean. "We all come from different periods, true. But it seems you and Leia are from the same version of your universe. And so far, it appears I am from that universe as well." It was more confirmation for himself than for Luke.
"You must remain careful, Luke. Anakin- Vader.... He is strong and cunning and can be very dangerous. I am sure he has grown even more so over the years. But....I also do not believe he would kill you easily. That was why you merely lost your hand battling him." A pause and a consideration. "Perhaps...there is still good in him?"
