It was quiet, Nebula didn't like it, it was a kind of quiet that wasn't natural for all that they lacked technology in this place, there was a network but it was small, there was no chatter for her to find, no conversations to stumble upon nothing out there but the few that had been dragged to this place. And she did not like it, even if it meant that she got Tony again, that she'd found her sister, there was too much about this place that they did not understand and she would not feel at ease until they did.
"Yes." She agreed, because it was all she could say to that, it was, it was the first thing she'd noticed when she'd found Tony too, the way the city around her had grown quiet until there was nothing but the two of them.
Nebula tipped her head to one side when her sister asked why she was looking for her, not anger in her tone but something unsure, it was odd being on this side of things with her now. It had been the other way for so long that Nebula had forgotten there had been a time when they had only ever been at odds with one another. No hope in Gamora that they might actually be friends one day, too twisted and turned by their father into the monsters that he desired them to be.
"I never got the chance to tell you what happened to you." She said instead of answering her immediate question. The loss she had suffered of her sister hurt more than the loss of Thanos, more than the death of Stark or anyone else. Nebula had been the first family she'd had since her own had been killed and that had been taken from her first by the years of training and torture of Thanos and then once more when he used her to get the soul stone. Gamora was no fool though, she would have an idea of what her fate had been.
"I lost you once. I do not plan on losing you a second time." Wherever in the galaxy she might go, wherever she ran Nebula would follow until they managed to find their way back to what they had had just briefly.
