Of all the things that Tony hadn't expected to find when he'd stepped through the door, this would probably be at the top of his list. Her. A woman he'd grown incredibly close to in only a short, difficult month. A woman he'd silently been worrying about since he'd ended up where he had, his traveling partner nowhere in sight. He she just been left behind to drift off in space until even she couldn't breathe?
Apparently not, since some version of her was here. Right in front of him. And while Tony was just as quick to the draw, his fingers only hovered over the glowing nanotech at his chest. He did not tap on it, not yet, to activate his suit.
"Nebula."
He didn't understand how or why. The doors had not yet brought him to a place that was recognizable or to a person he knew before.
