A perk of his brow, and a questioning look towards Kitty was all she was going to get. Mostly, because he didn't think she'd know what to do with a proper essay from John. Published writer on many formats, would probably of thrown her for a loop. Though deep down, Pyro just wasn't going to do that. An essay was a silly notion, and simply he'd end up writing about the ridiculous nature regarding around a heart growing three sizes too big. The Grinch would have died. Simple as that. PLus who would steal Christmas. Much easier to light it on fire.
As the music started playing he glanced over to her. Interesting choice of music, not one that Pyro would have specifically would have chosen, but he'd roll with it.
"You were right, it was an important decision to be made, and I do think you did okay." John offered a smile. Turning away for a moment he set the bottle of booze down and quick returned his attention to Kitty holding his hand out to her. After getting a look from her, he returned an equal look to her with a coy smile. "What. I'm not going to bite." Once her hand entered his he pulled her to her feet with a light twirl under his arm.
What? Pyro could dance. He wasn't always a villain.
