Growing boy. There was a chuckle. "Kitty Pryde, there is nothing about me that's a growing boy anymore. I've already hit my peak and it's all down hill from here." John shrugged at her. "Though at least you won that fight. I at least ate real food, aren't you happy Professor?" He leaned in her direction looking to her some.
This whole conversation was pure filler. Nothing more than to avoid the topic of feeling about how the party came to be. John knew it. John was here sulking because of the turn of events. He could have easily said no, but he didn't. He was just attempting the being neighborly to those in the similar situation as him. Just a lesson learned.
"I can imagine. You've lived this long, and managed to be big girl on campus at the school." With a sigh he looked up some at the unfamiliar sky. "It interesting that things were so good on your end, why you'd fade away from something." He looked over at Kitty, opened his mouth and then closed it. The why wasn't important. He'd badger her later about what she was running from.
"Well, better get into that rush, because I'm not letting you spoil the theme of this party." Looking to her he waited for the question on the theme, so he could respond. "Pity. This is a pity party, Kitty." He smiled.
