"They don't call me Shadowcat for nothing." She quipped as she sat with him, he certainly looked like he was in a mood. Gone was the easy teasing and even laughter they'd shared just days earlier and instead he looked sullen and maybe a bit surly if pushed too far.
She saw the motion, the way he sat forward after she'd foisted the plate off on him, like his first instinct was to throw it, after the way everything had gone down she probably wouldn't have been all that surprised, even if it was a waste. But considering what had been a good idea to gain just a little bit of favor turned into a reminder that people only saw a villain, well Kitty could hardly blame him for not wanting a reminder even if it was a meal.
Raising an eyebrow at him when he scoffed at her suggestion that he stick around she only just held on to the desire to roll her eyes at him. "You're talking to the wrong person if you expect me to agree with the idea that you have some sort of reason to attack Tony Stark of all people - especially one you've never met." She reminded him.
She could allow him a little bit of annoyance at the way things had gone, but she wasn't about to sit around listening to him insist that he was a villain, not after everything.
