When she heard the shout of the door being open, Kitty took it as permission to phase herself right through it, stepping into John's space and then seeking him out. Finding him not inside the way she'd thought he might be, but out back instead, looking like he was making a point of his sulking.
"What can I say, doors never did much for me." She grinned and foisted off one of the plates she was carrying before she sat down in the other chair that was set up, like he'd been waiting for someone to join him. And maybe he had, it was hard to tell with John.
"I stopped by and wished the guys happy birthday, even had a conversation or two, but -" She shrugged as she trailed off. She didn't know Tony, not these Tony's and so she didn't feel like she had to stick around after passing on her regards. It was a nice thing their friends did for them but she knew she didn't really have to be there. "Besides it'd be a waste not to have at least a little bit of the food they set up for the big event." Not just their burgers, but also little finger foods and things that fit a bit better with the theme.
"Looks like you managed to stop by for a minute." She said nodding to the bottle that he had already. "You didn't want to stick around?"
