Thor Odinson (MCU) & Loki (616)
It was interesting, seeing Loki seemingly so innocent beyond their usual bickering and squabbles. It almost made Thor feel guilty that he had suspicions there might be an underlying desire for mischief ready to break the surface and wreak havoc over Thortopia. He never wanted to assume the worst about Loki, and so he chose to contradict that assumption with the hope that his brother did have goodness within. From what he'd seen of Loki, especially while they were combating their rather violent, vicious sister and then of course the confrontation with Thanos really proved that his hopes weren't wasted. And now, having been trapped in such a place -- even if it was a different Loki -- he saw goodness there. The way Loki had let Thor hug him when he first arrived, well, that in of itself had meant the world to Thor at the time and still did now. He'd needed it more than he'd ever needed anything else in his life.
His gaze shifted slightly downward, to look upon his -- sister's? -- face and he felt a little heat in his face. No, he was not blushing, but there had always been a look Loki gave him and it was one that just kind of did things. Things he didn't really ever outwardly acknowledge but there was just something in that coy little smile. Scheming. Not the kind that would likely cause anyone else at the party or in town any sort of fret. Loki was reading him, or at least trying to. And that made Thor feel important, no matter what the intention behind it actually was.
"Now that I think of it, no," he said. "I'd rather hold your attention myself."
