Peter B and Bobby D
"You keep this up, you're bound to make regionals." Peter shot back with a grin, "And after that state, you could just go all the way." Peter suspected most parties were a bit like this one for the people who had shown up without knowing any of them, you just kind of came because what else was there to do in a place like this? And you got drunk and had some food and then went home. At least it was a dual party for the big Tony and the little one, he didn't know the younger one well and he'd have wandered a bit more if it was a party only for him.
For all that Peter could often time portray himself as a man who did not need relationships, he thrived in them, whether they were friendships or something more like what he had with Bobby. He was at home in a space like this, being able to share affection, even little small things like holding his hand, and the more of it he got the more he wanted.
"Yeah, I'd say we're on good terms." Peter agreed nodding when Bobby asked about Carol and the bar. He grinned when Bobby admitted that Carol intimidated him, the one he knew by the sound of it as well as this one. Not that Peter blamed him, Carol was an intimidating sort of person so he got that.
"Shoooo," Peter repeated sweeping a hand out like he was smoothing things over for him and nodded.
"I can introduce you." He agreed, "She's pretty great actually, don't get me wrong she's kind of terrifying too - but in a good way." He was quick to add, but maybe that was just a him thing, he didn't know. What he did know was that he liked Carol and even knowing she could kick his ass six ways to Sunday, he knew she was his friend and he wasn't actually worried that she'd make good on any of her threats, unless he gave her actual reason to - and even then it was iffy at best.
