"I'll be honest," Barbara began, "I don't think a lot of them actually wear those braids." She told her, because it was one thing to take a picture with a big thick braid full of flowers and crystals but it was something else to actually wear it in your real life. "It's all for the picture and then they take it out and wear something more practical." For the graph as people said back home.
She smiled a little watching Laura finish up her attempt at a braid, it wasn't terrible it came out looking like a braid and at the end of the day sometimes that's the best you could hope for. "Not too bad," She complimented her. "You know even if you get turned around in the mirror sometimes you can use it to make sure that you get your sections even and then do the rest by feel." She offered a little tip, because Laura was right sometimes a mirror just threw you off more than it helped but there were a few things that make it easier to do the things you wanted to do.
"Probably you just need to do it a couple more times and you'll have it down." Like with anything it was just a matter of practice.
