There were a lot of caveats about the doors, Peter knew. It was just part of what put him off them, he didn't understand them. A portal opened by a particle accelerator was one thing, you could understand how that happened and then create a way to fix it as well. But these doors? There was no fix as far as Peter could tell, there was just a roll of the dice and the hope that you could get back once you'd stepped through to the other side - it was kind of a miracle that any of them had gone through and come back again under circumstances like that.
Peter was just glad that others were more likely to go through themselves than make him do it for them. It was just one of many reasons why he was only too happy to help keep the bar running, he got the things he needed to make it happen and he fed people in return. It was a simple trade.
"I'd get in contact with Klaus if I was you." He told her when she told them that she needed some time to sort out the way she was feeling about it but wanted a steady supply of tea. "If they don't have the tea over at COFFEE then he'll be the one to be able to get it for you, or any other basic supplies that you might need. He's sort of our runner around here for things like that."
