"Ooo, well talking to ants could be good, too. Had a large spider problem back in England just a year ago- like a massive one, and it would've helped to- Are you alright?" She noticed the other woman didn't look so well. It appeared that the color had drained from her face and the Doctor recognized that look. Shock.
The woman asked for tea and then Peter asked and she was already patting down her pockets for something. At least she'd learned that without the TARDIS, keeping things her pockets was just easier. And what do you know, there was a tea bag. The Doctor smiled proudly as she gave it to Peter to prepare. She figured Irene wasn't exactly in the headspace.
As they were searching, a blond woman entered from the door at the back of the bar, walking with a determined gait towards the bar's entrance. She had briefly noticed the new woman, glancing at her with a raised eyebrow when Peter flagged her over.
"What's up?" She asked, noticing Irene's attire. It was pretty clear that Carol was looking her over as Peter asked her to do them a favor and heat the mug. "Here." She put a hand on it, her hand glowing faintly until the water inside began to steam.
"Thank you, Carol!" The Doctor grinned happily to see the task completed as the other woman nodded.
"Sorry, I need to go. I think Goose might have eaten Nyx's pet. Um...it was nice meeting you..?"
"Irene." The Doctor answered for the woman and Carol nodded.
"Carol. We'll talk later." She smiled and winked before turning and hurrying back out the door.
"Lucky I still had that bag, eh? Learned to carry more stuff in my pockets since the whole losin' my TARDIS thing- pockets are brilliant. Love my pockets!"
