"Talk to spiders?" Peter made a face and shook his head, the world turned on its head as he stood there on the ceiling. "No, no that's not a skill of mine, I heard about a guy who can talk to ants though." He offered rather unhelpfully, though why you'd need to talk to ants was beyond him. Of course talking to spiders didn't seem all that helpful either if he was being honest. "My other skills are a little less demonstrative." He explained, the strength and the speed and the thwipping, none of that were things you could easily show off inside a bar, as much as they might have been just a little less shocking to see.
But watching Irene's mouth fall open in response to Peter's demonstration was clue enough he might have gone just a little too far with this one, Peter released his hold on the ceiling flipping down to land as gracefully as a man of his size could and then standing up to his full height once more.
"Uh," He said slowly when she asked about tea. "This isn't really that kind of bar." He told her wincing just a little, maybe it should be? He didn't know, mostly people came here just wanted to get drunk, he suspected they might have some at COFFEE but even that might be asking a bit much for a place that named themselves for what they created.
"I can do-" He looked around for anything even remotely like tea and came up with just another glass of water, setting it on the bar top for Irene. "We might have to take a couple of trips through the door for tea, unless you know where we can get some, Doctor?" She might, she knew plenty and maybe she was a tea drinker.
