"Of course," Peter nodded to her lift of the glass. It was probably the sort of thing that some people had to take a little while to wrap their heads around, to really understand that yes they were actually stuck here, yes they actually were in some sort of alternate dimension, yes they were going through a door to alternate dimensions to get supplies. Sometimes you just had to experience a thing to truly believe it.
And her laughter and the way she asked where they were really getting things, that told Peter that he wasn't being believed. "I know, how it sounds." He started, "trust me, if I didn't already have some first hand experience with the multiverse I wouldn't have believed it myself, but it really does seem like we've been pulled here into this place, we're assuming it's something of a pocket dimension, it's really just the town and a little bit of land right outside it." He explained, "And then of course the house."
It would have been better if it had been a joke, if he was just some guy who'd seen a pretty girl walk into his bar and told her a crazy story for a laugh, but unfortunately for them both that just wasn't the case. "We've got groups who go through pretty regularly and bring us back what they find, whether that is food and drinks, or clothes, we got lucky a while back and brought back a karaoke machine," He nodded to the corner where they kept it there in the bar. "I know it's probably going to be a little while before you actually believe any of this, but the truth of this place is hard to get away from at a certain point."
