WHO: Nyx Ulric and Tony Stark (MCU)
WHAT: Nyx is bringing some things to Tony
WHERE: Tony's place
WHEN: Monday morning
RATING: Low

Nyx had a giant box of things he's acquired from his bouncing through the doors to different points in time and space. It's something that Nyx had had gotten almost obsessed with. Just hanging out in the village with everyone, he didn't have any skills to provide. He wasn't a plumber, a mechanic, a roofer, or anything like that. Before being full on soldier he was a bar owner and there was one of those. What was he going to do? Open a bar, to steal business from Carol? What would he charge? Cheaper than free? Well for granted he wasn't sure what she charged, because he only went the one time, but there wasn't anything like currency here. People traded things, but people just sort of just kept an eye out for one another.

That was nice.

And that this giant box was about. It was tools and gadgets and things he had acquired going to and from the doors for one many specifically. Tony. The man who helped him tend to his roof when he had nothing to his name yet. So he wanted to repay the kindness to that man. With BB15 in tow from his place he listened as the droid beeped and whistled about following him, then one of the whistles were more directed at him. Glancing down he frowned. "I already told you, we're going to see a friend. His name is Tony." Followed by another couple beeps and boops. "Yes he's nice. And why are you asking me if I'm giving you for scrap! Stop being ridiculous. You're my friend too!" Nyx rolled his eyes casually while the droid made some off handed comment about stabbing him in his sleep. God this droid was temperamental.

It wasn't long before the pair was at the workshop of the great Tony... Stark? He never gave his last name, but the place was named after him. It was a little weird, but who was he to complain. Setting the large box down, Nyx stepped up and knocked on the door before stepping back.

Purpose. Tony just gave Nyx purpose. That was all he needed right now. No princess. No war. Just a thing to do.

"Well, come by and grab a blender. I'll bring the other three over to COFFEE then. I mean. How many blenders do I need?!" He mused for a moment. "Or I can keep them and make a smoothie shop." Nyx side glanced Tony. "Who am I kidding? I'm to wild to be domesticated as such. Too much soldier nowadays." He shrugged.

Watching the droids, Nyx tilted his head. He hadn't considered using BB as a tester of things and stuff for the things he brought back. "Hey, BB." The droid immediately stopped and looked to the pair standing there. "Tony brought up a good point that you can probably help me make sure and figure out on things to keep or able to be fixed. Can you help me with that." Then the droid looked down like it was thinking and then made a series of beeps that made Nyx brow raise. "Oi. There isn't need for that." Then the droid went back to communicating with the smaller clearer droid.

Looking to Tony he translated. "If I'm right, he just told me he's on it like a fat kid gets on cake." There was an amused tone in his voice conveying it.

"I don't know if Starklandia could handle more than one beverage shop anyway," Tony said a little wryly. "Leave the domestication to Barton. He seems to be enjoying it, anyway." Tony was not yet ready to ask the question of why Nyx had thought to collect any beyond the first blender. It seemed like the sort of thing you just didn't ask another guy.

It was sort of funny, watching someone else talk to a 'bot the same way he would. Still did, even. ANGR-E got the brunt of it now, but only because DUM-E, Butterfingers and U weren't here. Nor did he have an AI that could easily be integrated into anything else right now, so FRIDAY got less use than he'd usually care for. Tony couldn't help but smile. "At least that means he's into it," he supposed. "Even if you might want to curb your round boy droid from fat shaming. Seems needlessly cruel, honestly." But hey, who was he to govern someone else's bot?

"I personally just make coffee at home." Nyx said dully. As much as he wasn't domesticated, he still did things his own certain way. "I can get behind that. All I've been doing is just finding things might be useful. Somethings probably not." Nyx shrugged and pointed to the box. "Somethings are just things."

Watching the pair of droids again he leaned on the table some. "I like him. I think he was absolutely a worthy purchase." Nyx laughed lightly. "How'd you come across ANGR-E?" Nyx inquired looking over to Tony once again. "You think that was needlessly cruel, you should of heard him in other instances. He's a vulgar little thing."

Weirdly wise. Sometimes things were just things. Tony arched a brow and then nodded over the sage and probably accidental wisdom. "Well, don't let the useless things pile up too much. There's no proper waste disposal here, so you're going to have to take the stuff back with you at some point."

Tony took to sorting through the box of things again, setting things into different piles of usefulness, or maybe momentary usefulness. There was no real putting to words Tony's sense of organization, and there was no point in trying. "I found him on a ship. He was a little cleaning 'bot. He didn't seem to like it much, though. So I brought him back, upgraded his processing speeds, learning capacity...." Tony shrugged, like it wasn't a big deal. And to him, it wasn't. "Good thing you don't need to worry about polite company being able to understand him."

"Oh. I think everything I've brought back has some sort of use if someone wants it." Nyx considered what he had brought back. "Didn't someone say they were looking for books. I grabbed some manuals for machines I have never heard of." He paused. "Well it's for some sort of car, I can tell that. Just the makes didn't make sense to me." Nyx shrugged. "But yes. I will be mindful of what stuff I bring back."

While Tony started pilfering through the box, Nyx looked about the make shift shop. The things that were just barely started and just almost finished. Plus everything in between. This man was truly incredible with what he was able to do. Looking over to Tony he pointed at a random object. "What's this going to do?"

"Maybe you can have a yard sale," Tony mused. "Without the sale part, I guess." That was still weird, here. To not need money for anything. It wasn't like he disliked it, but it was a significant difference from his Old Life, to not be able to just throw his endless funds at things. Apologies and gifts were an awful lot harder here.

He smiled vaguely though, when Nyx asked what something was for, and he figured it'd be an absolute disservice to not explain what was part of the bounty that he'd delivered to Tony.

So he did.
