"Yeah, yeah we'll make that a rule," Klaus said shaking his head, he definitely wasn't planning on going to any sort of fire worlds, "If we open a door and see flames we're gonna close it and just try again another day." He wasn't going to let Ben into something like that and he wasn't really interested. Better for them both really this way.
Klaus couldn't help but grin when Ben's shoulder met with his own as he came through the door, they'd had a couple of Patrick Swayze moments in the past, but this was full on Ben in the flesh bumping into him and Klaus doubted he'd ever really get over that.
"Now, we check it out." Klaus said with a grin, hefting the bag that Bill had given him up over his shoulder for just these occasions, ready to test it out for the first time. He tipped his head down the street to indicate which direction they'd be heading and started out that way, making sure not to get too far ahead of Ben as he went. It seemed like a fairly normal city at least from the initial view. Which was fairly normal for Klaus all things considered, the doors put him out in places he could often rummage around in easily.
This place though, it was a little quieter than usual, for all that it looked normal, and as they stepped around another corner it became obvious that this wasn't just a regular city. "Well that's new." He said standing there looking out on a street that looked like some sort of nature bomb had gone off, vines creeping up out of the street and over the buildings, taking over the street signs and light poles, it was kind of magical if you could ignore the sort of creepy worry about what happened to all the people who might have lived here at some point.
