Steve hadn't been expecting him to off him a chair, funny how he didn't expect the generosity he himself so easily offered. "We have a few, I fixed up some broken ones I found, save them for someone who doesn't have any," he said. Steve was always interested by people like them, how they got where they were, what they could do. Back in the 1940's he'd been the first people really knew of but absolutely not the last.
"I grew up in New York, so this seems small, but I always kind of wanted to get to live small," Steve explained as he looked back at the town too. "This is the first time I've got the chance, so I'm making the most of it." It wouldn't last, there was a world to get back to and things to do, he knew that. But it was nice in the interim. "I'll never complain about the coffee!"
