Glancing at the furniture, he gave the lot a sweeping motion. "Have at it. I'll just make more." That was sort of the beauty of having a bit of skills, right? He considered Steve's next statement, and he chuckled a bit. "Yeah, that's happened to me once," he replied. "It's certainly disorienting." It's not that he hadn't encountered some strange things in his time as Superman, but this was... Well, definitely outside of his comfort zone.
Clark gave Steve a slow nod. "Yeah, that's true," he said as he looked up and in the direction of the village. "It kind of reminds me of home," he began, "but that's small town living, y'know?" Smallville had large farms where the nearest neighbor was a couple miles away, but central nerve of the town was so small you could literally drive through it in less than twenty minutes. At the compliment, he focused his attention on Steve. "Great for morning coffee, too," he replied with a half-grin.
