Bucky knew that things were going to change, at least a little. By confessing that his flirtations had been real and meant something to him, Bucky knew he had to dial it back, even eliminate it if possible whenever he and Clint were around each other. It was a consequence that came with being honest but it was what had to happen. It wouldn't be right for him to flirt with Clint, and meaning it, when he was in a relationship with Natasha. And now, after Clint revealing that it meant something to him too, that sealed the deal.
If there was any other way to handle this, any other way to make it hurt a little less, Bucky would've jumped at the chance. As it was, the only solution he saw was to put all of his cards on the table, and then fold. If they were going to proceed forward with friendship, then things were going to have to be adjusted. He was already having to do that with Steve, and he needed to do it with Natasha and CLint as well. His heart was broken over it all, but he had to believe it would mend. There wasn't any other choice.
Bucky smiled when Clint signed back to him that yes, he was his favorite, though it didn't quite reach his eyes. One day it would, but right now he felt vulnerable and really -- worn down. Exposing his feelings, the true contents of his heart to three people in such a short amount of time knowing he was going back to an empty house was not exactly easy. And for someone who usually was pretty guarded about everything, it'd taken a toll on him.
"It was the right thing to do," he said. "And it.. It was.." "Great. Amazing," He signed. "You are, great, and amazing." He paused, thinking how he wanted to phrase this. "Don't let her worry. Tell her I'm okay, if she does." He lowered his hands. "I will be," he said. "I'll be okay."
