It was a relief for her to see the way he practically relaxed once the knife was removed, that was probably going to leave her feeling guilty for a long time to come - over freaking Pyro of all people. She was never going to hear the end of this if Bobby ever found out. But then he was getting close to the new Pyro so could he really talk? She thought not.
Rolling her eyes when he gave her that look over his shoulder. "Thank god you know yourself well enough to know you'd need some first aid on hand." She huffed lightly though, relieved that he had some things to be able to take care of this. She'd be able to remove the knife easily enough but without the supplies she was a little limited in what she could do for him.
But with water and a little first aid kit and a sewing kit, well they could take care of this as well as possible under the circumstances.
"I think you're going to need to vastly readjust your understanding of what it means to sew a wound shut if you think I'm not going to stab you repeatedly." She warned him, her tone as light and teasing as she could make it when faced with the bloody wound when John sat himself down presenting her with his back to take care of.
She considered for a moment and grabbed his discarded shirt and began ripping it into strips, considering the large and bloodied hole in it, she counted it as a loss, and John would just have to as well. She started with cleaning the wound and then moved on from there and used her phasing to help keep the sewing aspect as pain-free as possible for him, phasing the needle in and out of his skin until she was able to pull it all together in a way that left her satisfied. "That should do it for now." She decided sitting back after she'd finished her work.
