It had to happen sooner or later, from what Kitty had seen so far, the town wasn't that big so they weren't going to be able to avoid one another forever, not any of them. So really this was probably for the best that they go ahead and run into each other now and see how they were going to get on. She didn't think they had to be at odds all the time, despite the obvious tensing of John's shoulders when she spoke.
"Yeah?" She asked, just a little bit surprised by his idea to not just find a super market of all things, but also to try and do something nice for people. It wasn't really like him - the old him. But he said he was changed, so maybe the new him could do some nice things every now and then. "Are you planning a meal?"
When he asked about her plans she shrugged, not quite rising to his taunting. "I hadn't decided just yet." She admitted, "I am still trying to figure this place out." She said waving a hand toward the house, it was strange, and that was being entirely too generous as he described it. "What would you say to a little company on your quest?" She offered.
