Clint | Kate :: Costco
"How responsible of you," Kate teased, although she had to admit, she hadn't thought of the obvious: buy a membership. Would they ever use it again? Who knew? She'd heard of crazier things happening than being able to go to Costco again through the doorway.
But option two definitely sounded doable and it meant less money they'd have to spend. Because if they were actually going shopping, she could only imagine what that bill would look like. "I'm feeling up for an adventure." She glanced up and back at him, slowly raising her index finger up. "If we get caught, we'll just try your idea of buying a membership." It's not like they would turn them down when they admitted their mistake and asked to be a paying member, right? But Kate felt fairly confident they could sneak in this way. When the goal was to bring back as much booty for their little town as possible, the motivation suddenly seemed to increase. Before it had been about protecting people from the bad guys, now they were protecting their friends by providing for them.
Kate felt so domesticated.
"Do you think if I leave my stuff on the roof, it'll be safe?" Kate was already pulling out one of their grappling arrows, glancing around to make sure no one was around to witness their attempt. At least she had her bow on her; always prepared for whatever the doorway held. She was like a boy scout or something!
"Were you ever a Boy Scout?" she asked out loud, as she loosened the arrow and let it fly. She pulled back on the string, feeling it grow taut and held it out to Clint, bowing. "Gentlemen first."
