To say Pyro was a little surprised about Husk being here was, saying it lightly. Sure they were not on the same side, or even remotely friendly, but she didn't seem all that bad. Well in the standing when they weren't fighting each other. He hoped the now wasn't one of the instances where they were going to be fighting each other.
She said he was dead. So he was dead for her too. She was later in the timeline like Drake and Storm. Thoughts crossed his mind regarding just torching her, and leaving her a crisp husk in another dimension. Heh. Husk. Sick joker, but ultimately the murderous intent just wasn't in his eyes. Staring her down, Pyro closed his fist extinguishing the flame.
"Nod dead anymore." Pyro said in a deadpan, matter of fact way.
With that, he turned on his heel and started down the alley looking around. Had to find out where he was. What was happening. Most of all hoping no one would figure out who he was. Glancing back, he took in his location so he could go back. This was the last place he wanted to get stuck in. At least back in that small village named after Stark, he was able to live a quiet life. In theory. If Drake would leave him alone. Though he couldn't help but get curious despite all the thoughts he had. He looked back to Paige. "Husk. What are you doing here?" He knew why for himself, but her, why would fate land her at his feet?
