Tatooine - Leia | Tony
Leia’s smile was lit immediately by his answer - already he seemed an eager accomplice. .
Almost.
The questioning about the key immediately made Leia wince, just a little, her nose creasing as she turned a little apologetic; her expression seemed to communicate well enough that there was definitely no keys and the reason for that was - they weren’t supposed to be here, and this was very much breaking and entering
Even so, he offered a solution with a piece of tech that she’d never seen before, though it intrigued her. But, whether or not he could get them inside the junkyard really didn’t matter when Leia knew he ought to make an educated decision when it came to crime.
“Look, anything we were to hypothetically take from this yard would definitely not be legal. Around here you’d barter, trade ..sometimes even pay credits for this sort of stuff, probably at a hugely inflated rate too.” She huffed out a breath, because a somewhat twisty way of saying ‘burglary’ probably might not fly with everyone - especially not someone she just met. However, there was a good measure of hope in her dark brown eyes. “But- ..I think some of the tech in there could really help us out, maybe even work toward getting us home.”
That much was earnest enough, it was with the intent on providing some useful materials, she expected anything he scavenged he could keep, or give away - Leia intended anything spare from the ship repairs she needed to make would be donated to the town.
“And you should know that the sort of beings that run these kind of places on Tatooine would just as readily trade in humans lives as easily they would a few credits.” You know; scum, villainy, slavers. Terrible people who do terrible things and somehow deserve a bit of thievery? She’d been watching the sleemo of an owner until he left and she had a suspicion his staff he pushed around were indentured without pay.
"So- if you wanted to leave with a clean slate. I wouldn’t blame you."
