Peter B | Bobby :: Tips are always appreciated
"A little bit," Peter agreed as Bobby compared this place to Madripoor - he wasn't sure it was exactly like that but they were all people with a bit of shared trauma, not the exact moment of course, they all came with a story though, the loss of a loved one, a battle they hadn't been able to win, someone they couldn't save, some sort of loss. They all had something, so it made it just a little bit easier to empathize with one another in most cases.
Peter doubted very much that every single thing could be smoothed over by their common ground, but it went a long way to helping them relate to one another.
"And the sort of familiar faces, help too." It was easy to relate to a lot of the people here because he knew versions of most of them, not all of them, but enough that it helped. He hoped the same held true for Bobby as well.
But then there was Bobby, showing off again, flexing enough to make Peter huff lowly as he watched him move. "Just let me grab this last pizza out of the oven and then I'm all yours." He promised, it wasn't the sort of party that they could get lost in a crowd in, nothing about this place was that - but Peter wanted to get closer to Bobby again, without the counter between them.
