Thor/Carol
Carol's eyes probably said more than any word she could have spoken. She understood. The concept of losing wasn't new to her, but it wasn't something she had to face in quite a while. She was extremely powerful, and there were very few in their universe that could outmatch her. But Thanos...
She hadn't been there. And the guilt was in her eyes as well. She should have been on Earth sooner. Fury should have called her sooner. She should have tracked Thanos sooner....
Instead of telling him it was alright or that it wasn't his fault, she just took a long drink and filled her own glass again. Then his. They'd regret this later.
"I know how you feel. Believe it or not. I should have been there. He wouldn't have stood a chance..." A sad and almost ironic smile as she drank again, her eyes staring ahead of Thor, looking a little distant. Maybe at that second, she couldn't look at him. Because she didn't blame him for what happened, but the ache was still there.
"If I ever see Fury again, I can't promise I won't punch him. Not a heavy punch. But probably enough to give him a good black eye."
