Peter B | Bobby :: I'm sure he knows.
It was obvious watching Bobby that he was having some thoughts on the matter. Peter let him take his time with it as he considered, it could definitely be a lot, and he didn't know which part of it all Bobby was turning over in his mind but he remembered having these same kinds of moments years ago, about how much of himself he wanted out there. How much did he feel comfortable sharing, how much felt safe and right and well yeah. He got it.
He smiled just a little when Bobby did finally lift his eyes again, yeah Peter could definitely admit that he liked him.
He nodded when Bobby started to lay out some of his thinking about things, about how he'd never really let himself examine this side of himself, focus on the parts that were much more out and center. "Yeah," He agreed, tempted to reach out for Bobby across the bartop but holding himself back until he finished what he wanted to say. "It is a lot." Peter saw so many different kinds of fear where he was from, he could hardly blame Bobby for wanting to spare himself even a little bit of it whenever he could.
Peter huffed softly and grinned, "I think that's a great way of saying it." Maybe it was a little bit rambling but it seemed like Bobby needed to say all of it too - so it worked. "I think you probably won't find a better place to be out than here too." He added, here among people who were like them in a lot of ways, who knew a lot of the weight that they carried, and people who were busy worrying about all the things that they carried themselves to worry much about what any one else was doing.
