Older Tony | Jan :: Dranks
Jan wasn't sure if she would be invited back into Pancho's, but it seemed that the work she and America had been dedicated to made up for their last event there. Jan made sure to be on her best behavior this time around, even if it included a few more shots than last time. She had only talked to the birthday boy a handful of times, but did you really need an excuse to party? Never!
She was impressed with the few items Carol had been able to scrounge for but made a mental note to keep looking for party supplies. With more and more people coming, this was probably just the start of the roll towards more to come this year, not to mention all the holidays coming out! Would they be able to find the right kind of decor and costumes for Halloween? Sure, they still had the summer season to get through but it was never too early to start thinking about her birthday month!
Never one to really hide in the corner (despite how Carol or Peter may have felt for their second shindig), Jan flitted between people, making a wide circle around America. While the two had come to some sort of understanding (at least on social gatherings), she didn't want to take any chances. Strategic socializing. Instead, she saw a face she liked 10 million times better and made her way over to him, flopping an arm around his shoulder.
"Buy you a drunk, stranger?" Alright, so maybe she had a few more drinks than she really remembered, but she was still doing well. Standing up all on her own, despite leaning against him now. It was just a preference, not a necessity really.
