Are you fucking Sirius? ([info]beingsirius) wrote in [info]snapthread,
Sirius couldn't say he wasn't a little curious about the mask that Gwen slid on, because of course he was, but there was also another part of him that decided it was quite a brilliant look, particularly for a place like this. "What's an inflatable guy?" He asked Miles when Gwen wandered off to ask questions -- and if he stealthily pocketed a few candies when no one was looking, that was his own business. He highly doubted this place was going to take galleons anyway.

"And a muggle's like -- you know. Not a wizard." Sirius forgot sometimes -- forgot that it was a word that didn't work in places like Starklandia, where he was the minority, where it might have sounded a bit like a judgmental sort of word.

Luckily, Gwen came back and pointed them in the right direction so Sirius took to that direction immediately -- because surely they could talk while they wandered -- and keep a mental map of the directions they were going in, too. "'Course his name is Bob. Space Bob. Y'know," he said, pulling his wand out of his pocket rather suddenly. "I'd like to talk in whomps but maybe I've got a proper way for translation, anyway." Maybe he should have thought of that earlier, but he rather liked being in a foreign place with mysteries.
