"Shinjuku?" he asked, looking around. Yeah, no this was definitely Shinjuku. All neon and rain and bustling people, though the people seemed less interested in looking up than usual. And there was way more black than he'd seen the last time he was there. Most of the color seemed to be coming from the signs and that light reflecting off the clear umbrellas.
All of the places dotted around where they were seemed to be different from what he remembered the last time he was in this spot too. Nothing felt particularly dangerous. Just...different. Empty. That's what it was. It felt strangely empty. That could've just been because of the rain. Even so...
