It wasn't terrible here. It definitely wasn't great, but considering what others had gone through, it could have been worse! It became a sort of mantra Jan had to tell herself every morning as she woke up in a world without Internet, fashion, or good food. It was an adjustment she couldn't prepare herself for and she had to remind herself that everything was going to be alright. She didn't really have the proof of it, but it was better than dwelling on the impossibles. Besides, she had heard of a weird room that you could go into and get stuff? She wasn't really sure how it worked (THIS IS WHY THEY NEEDED INTERNET! The network still seemed to be hit or miss with people), but figured she could work out the details later. She slipped into her outfit, flying out of her room to try and find this magical room everyone was talking about. She thought she remembered hearing it was on the edge of town, so it had to be easy to find.

She was almost to the courtyard when she spotted a familiar flop of black hair. At first, she didn't register that it wasn't peppered with white, but changed direction, growing to normal size as she landed behind him. "What are you doing on the ground?" she asked, trying to glance around him. "Wait, is that a suit?? When'd you get-" And then it hit her. She looked at Tony's face and she wasn't sure if she was going to scream or cry.

It was definitely the former as she tackled him to the ground.

"Yeah, I pinky swear that you won't be completely disappointed when you see him." She grinned, because she knew, no matter what, Tony would be upset. It was probably hard for him to think of there being another one of him there, a competition for attention at first glance. But she knew, in the end, they would become best buds and do all sorts of things for this place.

Was it bad that she was already finding herself comfortable in this place? At least resigned to the fact that there was no escape. With her!Tony's recent arrival, the reasons for her immediate departure were shrinking in number.

Almost reading her mind, Jan practically jumped when Tony reminded her that their first priority was trying to find a way out of here, second priority of making this their own. "Yeah, yeah, right..." she started to say until she stopped with him. She gave him a strange look before she realized why he was so upset. "Aw Tony, don't worry, we'll just make a new one!" She wasn't so sure how, but she'd do anything to try and make her friend happy.

"C'mon, here's your phone," she said, handing it to him. She browsed through the keys before picking one up that was from the same group as hers. "Here, let's see what door this opens. It's in my building so hopefully, close by!" She nudged him back towards the buildings hoping to distract him with more questions.

"So what do you think we should do to try and get back?" Because she was out of options. The best hope they had was the little tech they had which consisted of their phones, old!Tony's spaceship, and this Tony's suit. It wasn't bad, but she wasn't really sure what they'd be able to make of all of it. But she wasn't going to let her own uncertainty dampen her spirits, especially when she needed to keep them up for Tony.

Tony had his doubts, but at the end of the day he trusted Jan completely, there was almost no one else in the world he trusted more than her, and in a world like this - well he was pretty sure she was at the top of that list, so if she was willing to make him a pinky swear, he could trust that she was being honest with him. So if she said he wouldn't be completely disappointed then he wouldn't be and that was all there was to it.

Tony pouted about his cheese fridge, it had taken him years to build up it's reputation, to have the widest variety of the very best cheeses in the universe, and now it was all gone, Pepper was probably going to end up finishing it off before they figured out a way to get home. But he nodded with a half hearted sigh, "I hope we can find enough cheeses to make it as good as the last one," looking around there Tony wasn't entirely sure there was going to be a chance of that.

Jan though, was quick to distract, urging him toward his sort of welcome packet, with a phone so that was a starting point at least. "I might see if I can get a few readings from the suit, JARVIS didn't seem to be working, but maybe he could get some of the other systems online and see if they could learn a little more about this place.

"After that..." He drew it out as he shrugged, "I guess we'll just have to work together the way we always do until we solve the problem."
