There really wasn't a lot to do after the bar was repaired. Mostly drink and talk and visit through the doors. After her last excursion, Carol was a little hesitant. She'd never faced a foe she couldn't just punch through, and it had been....well, uncomfortable. For the first time in a long time, Carol was afraid she could face a challenge she couldn't easily overcome.
Of course, she drank instead of talked about, as per usual. And on days like this, she found other ways to distract herself. Running had always been a hobby of hers, something to help clear her head. And even though this place was small, the forests and the lake offered something new. Even if there was a ship or two now sticking out of the water.
Jogging towards the lake was usually solitary, but not today. A familiar red-head came into view and Carol slowed down, grinning as she quietly came up behind the woman, reading over her shoulder and making a face. "Her succulent breasts heaved with desperation- wow." Carol broke out laughing, unable to help herself.
She looked more laid back than she had earlier that week, her hair pulled back and wearing shorts and a tank top. It was different from her usual look, but jogging in jeans got uncomfortable. "Please don't tell me you asked Jan to get that for you." Carol placed her hands on her hips, still grinning widely, clearly trying to hold back more laughter.
