Some things were okay to have. Sometimes it was okay to be greedy. Tony was a generous person, sometimes to a fault, but he hadn't been remiss in taking the things he wanted in life, either. This was sort of like that. But on a different, more intense sort of scale, maybe.
Steve was taller than he was, so it was probably lucky he was in his lap so that they lined up better, so that there wasn't any ridiculous amounts of reaching having to happen. It was just. Easy. Everything about this was easy and maybe they might have been wiser to start off here first, before moving on to words that had hurt. Maybe they would have both been more pliant and ready to give.
"Yeah," he agreed, although not really with anything that Steve was saying so much as the way they were moving, pressed close, hands actively greedy and the slide of flesh on flesh as natural as it was hot. "C'mon," he said, and where Steve's head fell back, Tony moved forward, forehead resting against the curve of Steve's neck.
