Yes.

Her whole body sighed with it, an actual drop of her shoulders and loosening of her limbs when she fell into him,, as though it was an actual - emotion, or physical trait, something that could be quantified and calculated and made tangible. Yes. That was it. That was the only thought, everything else was blurred out, eighteen languages and it was the only thing rattling around in her brain right now. Because it wasn't the coffee shop, where they were both crying and overly emotional and all the news had been awful to give and to hear. She'd held onto that moment, she would never forget it, but maybe somewhere in the back of her mind - somewhere over years of it never being quite this way - she'd expected him to need to walk it back, at some point. Expected that she would let him, and they would chalk it up to the circumstance. That maybe it wasn't really about want, just about the...spill, of it all.

This, though. This felt like a choice, and not just an inevitable conclusion to a maelstrom of feelings, and when he dragged her onto his lap, she had both her hands tangled in his hair at a speed so fast that she didn't remember when they'd moved in the first place. Tangling in it, holding his head so that she could devour his mouth the same way she had in COFFEE - but better, now, this kiss that said I have been waiting so goddamn many years for this, let me show you, let me prove it.

He'd tugged, and she'd gone, and now she was crushed against his chest and climbing closer, arranging her knees on either side of his hips, yes. In any language he wanted to hear it once they eventually came back to her.
