But then he sobered for a moment, glancing away and rubbing at his nose with the side of his palm before looking back at her. "Look. I don't want you to be apologizing. Not for feeling things. That's.. we gotta feel what we feel, even if it sucks. That's ours and that's how it goes. But -- I gotta ask, okay?" He bit his lip and took in a little breath. "You just went through a big thing. Recently dead. You sure you want this? Because I -- you died for me. Obviously you care but..." But he didn't want her to rush into something she'd feel trapped in later and regret. And he wouldn't have blamed Natasha if she was eventually a little angry over being once-dead for him.
