She got denial, she really did - she'd lived there for a long time when it came to James, but he'd shown her his true colors, tried to murder their mother, tried to kill her any number of times, she could mourn the boy that he'd been, the relationship they'd had but she could also see what he was. She didn't know why her dad couldn't do that too, maybe it was because it was always her cleaning it up, dealing with the worst of it, he just came in at the end to see the mess that had been left behind and blamed it on Batgirl.
"He's an even bigger idiot than I ever realized." She said it softly with a sigh, and she hated to feel that way about him, her dad had been such a big part of what inspired her to try and help in the first place. It was even more frustrating being here too, having to deal with all of this and not be able to do anything about it. It left her unsure of what to do with herself. "It's a disaster waiting to happen," She agreed of the retail job that everyone seemed to think was a great idea for James.
She exhaled slowly leaning into Jason just a little when he assured her they'd get back, that he'd come if she called him. "How awful does it make me that I wish I'd killed him?" She asked, she was struggling with that more than almost anything else in all of this, the desire to have been the one to do it. She didn't kill people, it was a line she didn't cross but she thought that maybe this was a place that she could be allowed an exception. It wasn't the sort of thing she could say to Dick though, Jason though - he'd understand.
