Okay. So, Remus was definitely from some future, then, and that was still strange to get his head around because they were meant to be the same age. But now -- what? They were just years apart? Just like that, apparently, because Sirius had taken a wrong turn on his bike in London and ended up here instead. And he'd just lost things. Time. Experiences. More, maybe.
Not that they sounded like things he wanted to experience in the first place, but that hardly seemed like the point. The point was -- he didn't remember it, although Remus wasn't by any means saying that he hadn't been there. Had it been some other Sirius? Or did he go back from wherever here was eventually back to -- there? Sirius was in no way stupid, but it was a lot to consider -- particularly whilst he was trying to pay attention to what Remus was saying.
And at first, he wanted to point out that it didn't sound all bad. The War ending was a brilliant concept. In his own world, it'd been ramping up -- but more in whispers than much else. But then -- "What?" He interrupted, because that was absolute bollocks. "That's ridiculous. Absolute madness. That's impossible on all accounts. I've never met a more trustworthy -" Sirius cut himself off, because obviously Remus would know if he was trustworthy or not. And if it came up then, than certainly Remus had heard this same exact argument from Sirius before.
"That's stupid," he repeated, because he was easily riled. "But please go on, Moony." He did, at least, recognize that this story was not an easy one to tell.
