"At James' place. You know, the shite flat with the -- leak and the--? Why are you asking me this?" As if it wasn't obvious, really! Everyone knew where James lived because they'd finished school and gone apartment hunting and James had proclaimed freedom! without thinking and landed himself the worst possible place ever. Lily wasn't going to take it much longer, he was sure, but the flat felt like summer, and Sirius didn't mind it so much when they were all sitting on the roof of the place looking up at the sky and stars like they held infinite possibilities. Sirius didn't much care anything about location so long as he had his mates.
"So? What then, Remus?" He asked, bewildered and starting to get a bit on the nervy side because these weren't normal questions, not for anyone, least of all a usually very logical Remus Lupin. "Out with it, what's gotten into you?" Sure, appearing in a strange town could confound and confuse some, but it wasn't so strange to make Remus have lost his general....Remus-ness. Sirius would have demanded and gotten at least one chance at a pounce by now.
