"Huh." That was Carol's response at first, giving a nod. "We seem to be getting a lot of dead people, recently." She was starting to wonder if something had happened to her on the way back. She couldn't remember, so she doubted it.
"I got time. Not like I'm going anywhere." She looked around the bar and smirked with a shrug.
Her story? Whew boy. She'd forgotten some people around here didn't know. There were so many that just did (and that was strange in itself), but Carol had gotten used to the strange fame that had come with being who she was. And doing what she did.
"You mean my story story, or do you mean how I came to be here?" She took a drink and considered. "I was answering a distress call from a friend. Unfortunately, when I landed...this was where I was. No sign of my friend."
And she just recently figured out what had happened when she didn't show up. She stared down at the bar, going quiet. When she looked up again, her face was more relaxed, smirking a little. "You want more, you're going to have to go first. For instance, what's that?" She nodded towards the weapon then looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
