A small tiny voice in the back of Tony's head was convinced Steve was doing all of this on purpose. Like he found some sort of pleasure in seeing Tony absolutely flustered beyond belief. But this wasn't the first time he'd seen Steve shirtless, it just seemed to be a constant state of being for him - if he hadn't seen Steve at the bar over the weekend he'd have thought he simply existed shirtless no matter what he was doing.
But it seemed like it was only in the cases when he and Tony were going to talk, as if he had some sort of sixth sense that told him when it was necessary to be shirtless because Tony was approaching. Whatever, he could handle this, he was fine. "Uh hi," smooth."
Tony hadn't really meant to interrupt Steve's routine, but he'd just had the overwhelming urge to talk to him again and maybe you know not make a fool of himself in the process. "Sorry I didn't realize you were going to be - you know." He waved a hand vaguely. "Do you have a little time to talk or do you need to like... run twenty miles?"
